In the second track on his debut studio album, “DEAD RIGHT NOW”, Lil Nas X recounts the numerous fake interactions he has had during his rise to stardom. He presents various scenarios, like one where he only receives responses to texts due to his newfound fame. He even calls these detractors out on a personal level, revealing that they were not present during his struggles with suicide, only appearing once they could grovel for a slice of his success. But in the end, to X, they are “Dead Right Now.”
