However, while the ex has a desire to restart the relationship after admitting to cheating, both express that they have moved on—so much so that they have one girl with them and another on the way. The track’s instrumental has a clear ‘80s electropop influence, similar to that of The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights.”

The song was initially teased by both Post Malone and The Weeknd on November 2, 2021, when they shared a snippet of the song to their respective Instagram pages. A second snippet from the music video was shared to Instagram by The Shade Room on November 4, 2021.
