Similar to her 2020 smashing hit “Rebel”, Shenseea drops an anthem for independent women, and her posse “Shenyengs”, capable of making their own decisions. She makes it clear that if she’s not being treated right in a relationship, she will remove herself from the situation, as every independent female should do.

From the title “Shen Ex Anthem” it’s safe to say she’s directing this towards past relationships and how vigilant they’ve made her to relationships.
